a sad farewell to all our viewers

In view of the current recession we all find ourselves caught up in, charities cannot be expected to be treated as special cases, so, with many others, we have to tighten our belts in order to preserve the money we have for essential work.

In order to help in this matter, it has been decided to close down this ManKind Welsh site and to concentrate all our efforts on our main national website which you will find at: http://www.mankind.org.uk Any special news or developments concerning Wales will, of course, be published in future on that site.

The fight by ManKind for truth and justice will, as ever, continue until men and boys are treated fairly especially in the case of domestic abuse. Over recent years, we have produced enough reliable evidence to clearly show that, at the moment, this is not the case, but happily, things are changing and we are now being approached by representatives of social services, the police and other bodies for our literature and posters. Some have honestly stated that their attitudes towards men need to be improved.

There is still much work to be done, and our Welsh Branch will continue as before. If anyone wishes to join us in our work or donate to our cause, the webmaster may still be contacted on our national website. For those supporters who continue to help we say a big "Thank you" - diolch yn fawr!
