As pointed out by some email correspondents, the Welsh Assembly treats women much more favourably than men. This was blatantly obvious in the case of Jane Sullivan who campaigned for Herceptin. She was allowed to stay inside the Assembly building with a couch to sleep on and to use their toilet facilities. A man who visited the building to try to get treatment for a brain tumour was not even allowed inside.

Robin Williams of Penarth wrote to the S.Wales Echo about the Herceptin campaign but the letter was not published. We do not agree with this sort of censorship and believe that an opposing opinion can be in the public interest. See below to read Robin's letter.

The fact that men and boys are being consistently neglected by the Welsh Assembly has not been lost on the men of Wales as your emails show. Read our quotes from The Guardian article on how domestic violence against men is, once again, being sidelined by the Assembly and the "Women's Safety Unit" in Cardiff.

See "Fair Play for Men in Wales" page.
